Womens 1940s

1940s Wool Suit by Ted Stein - Medium

$120.00

This gorgeous suit features a dainty lapel over a double row of eight buttons extending down the front. The blazer has a nipped waist and a peplum, with the back of the sleeves having the coolest little notch. The skirt zips down the left with a metal zip, and there are two hooks as well as a snap to aid closure. Tag in the neck of the blazer says “Crystal Room, Wolf & Dessauer, Fort Wayne, Indiana”. The tags inside the jacket say “Ted Stein” and “Forstmann 100% Virgin Wool”. This suit is in absolutely wonderful vintage condition. Please note: The skirt length is not typical of the 40s, and I do believe it was shortened, as research images from the same designer show a longer skirt.
